Below is a bit of what's happening at this Wednesday's school board meeting (April 26, 2006). Also, I wanted to draw your attention to a Measure M Web site that just went up. Click on it and check it out.

Closed Session
At 5 p.m. there will be a closed session (you can't come) to discuss negotiations with the Monrovia Teachers' Association, and to discuss a performance evaluation review for the Superintendent and district administrators.
Study Session
At 6 p.m. there'll be a studdy session (you can come) to discuss board by-laws and organizational policies.
Regular Session
At the 7 p.m. regular session, the board will...
- Honor Monrovia High School, Santa Fe Middle School and Clifton Middle School for outstanding contributions to students through the school-based support service programs as displayed in their Support Personnel Accountability Report Card (SPARC).
- Receive preliminary budget projections for the 2006-07 fiscal year.
- Present the summary of a tentative agreement with the Monrovia Teachers’ association (MTA), California School Employees Association (CSEA), Monrovia Association of School Administrators (MASA), and Confidential/Classified Management (C/CM) for 2005-06 and 2006-07.
- Declare its intent to lease surplus vacant classrooms.
- Declare April as Voter Education and Participation Month.
- Other stuff.
