Reflections
I wish to acknowledge here the difficulty, or - as many would say, the impossibility of - the series that The Light begins with today's edition to present. I do not intend to describe the means by which our correspondent gained access to Hell. In fact, I do not pretend even to understand all of the mechanisms involved in that access.
Nevertheless, though it hardly seems necessary to remind our readers, Robert Newman - as is, of course, true of all our correspondents - is a subject of Heaven, and as such is entirely trustworthy. Therefore, the trip, though admittedly unusual in the extreme, was carried through without the slightest deviation from righteousness.
