I. Satan and Sin

Luke 10:18 - And he said to them, I beheld Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

Matthew 4:10 - Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

Luke 4:8 - Jesus answered him, It is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

Matthew 16:23 - But he turned, and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan: you are an offence to me: for you are not thinking of the things of God, but of the things of men.

Mark 8:33 - But when he had turned about and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get behind me, Satan: for you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things that are of men.

John 8:44 - You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature: for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

Mark 3:23 - And he called them to himself, and said to them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

Luke 11:18 - If Satan is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? for you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

Matthew 12:26 - And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand?

Mark 3:26 - And if Satan rises up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end.

John 8:34 - Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the slave of sin.

Matthew 13:19 - When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed that was sown by the wayside.

Mark 4:15 - And these are the ones by the wayside, where the word is sown; when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in them.

Luke 22:31 - And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:
