VII. Promises

Matthew 5:19 - Therefore, whoever shall break one of the least commandments, and shall so teach men to do, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 10:41 - He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Matthew 10:42 - And whoever shall give to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink because he is my disciple, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.

Matthew 19:29 - And every one who has forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit eternal life.

Mark 10:29 - And Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, There is no man who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

Mark 10:30 - Who shall not receive a hundredfold in this present time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Luke 18:29 - And he said to them, Truly I say to you, There is no man who has left house, or parents, or brothers, or wife, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,

Luke 18:30 - Who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the world to come, life everlasting.

John 6:35 - And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life: he who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes in me shall never thirst.

John 6:54 - Whoever eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 6:57 - As the living Father sent me, and I live by the Father: so he who eats me shall live because of me.

John 6:58 - This is the bread which came down from heaven: not as the fathers ate manna, and died: he who eats this bread shall live forever.

John 11:25 - Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live:

John 11:26 - And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?

John 4:14 - But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into eternal life.

John 6:40 - And this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son, and believes in him, may have eternal life: and I will raise him up on the last day.

Matthew 19:28 - And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, At the renewal of all things, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, you who have followed me shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 22:30 - That you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

John 8:51 - Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone keeps my word, he shall never see death.

John 14:2 - In my Father's house are many dwelling places: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:3 - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

John 14:18 - I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
