XVII. Obedience and Submission
John 14:15 - If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
John 14:21 - He who has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves me: and he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 15:14 - You are my friends, if you do what I command you.
John 7:18 - He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory: but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him, he is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
John 8:50 - I do not seek my own glory: but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.
John 7:17 - If any man is willing to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.
Matthew 26:39 - And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.
Mark 14:36 - And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible for you; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what you will.
Matthew 26:42 - He went away again, a second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this may not pass away from me, except I drink it, your will be done.
Luke 22:42 - Saying, Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done.
John 18:11 - Then Jesus said to Peter, Put your sword into its sheath: the cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?
John 8:29 - And he who sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I always do those things that please him.
Matthew 28:19 - Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:
Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
