IX. Love

John 13:34 - A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, so you also love one another.

John 15:12 - This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:17 - This I command you, that you love one another.

John 13:35 - By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 15:13 - Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Matthew 5:43 - You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbour, and hate your enemy.

Matthew 5:44 - But I say to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you;

Matthew 5:45 - That you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:46 - For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? do not even the tax gatherers do the same?

Matthew 5:47 - And if you greet your brethren only, what are you doing more than others? do not even the Gentiles do the same?

Matthew 7:12 - Therefore, all things that you would have men do for you, do for them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Luke 6:27 - But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Luke 6:28 - Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who abuse you.

Luke 6:32 - For if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? for sinners also love those who love them.

Luke 6:33 - And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? for sinners also do the same.

Luke 6:34 - And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? for sinners also lend to sinners to receive repayment.

Luke 6:35 - But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Most High: for he is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

John 14:23 - Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

John 14:24 - He who does not love me does not keep my words: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.
