The Kingdom of God and Heaven

Luke 17:20 - And when he was asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with signs:

Luke 17:21 - Nor shall they say, Look, here it is! or, look there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Mark 1:15 - And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe the gospel.

Matthew 4:17 - From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 10:7 - And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 11:13 - For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Matthew 11:12 - And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Luke 13:29 - And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall recline at table in the kingdom of God.

Matthew 8:11 - And I say to you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall recline at table with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 16:28 - Truly I say to you, There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, until they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Mark 9:1 - And he said to them, Truly I say to you, That there are some of those who stand here, who shall not taste of death, until they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Luke 9:27 - But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.

Luke 11:20 - But if I cast out devils by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Luke 21:31 - So likewise, when you see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is at hand.

Luke 10:11 - Even the very dust of your town, which clings to us, we wipe off against you: nevertheless, be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near to you.

Luke 12:31 - But rather seek the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:33 - But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 5:20 - For I say to you, That unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall never enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 4:30 - And he said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? or what parable shall we use for it?

Mark 4:31 - It is like a grain of mustard seed, which is the smallest seed planted in the ground:

Mark 4:32 - But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all garden herbs, and shoots out great branches; so that the birds of the air may nest under the shadow of it.

Matthew 13:31 - He put forth another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

Matthew 13:32 - It is the smallest of all seeds: but when it is fully grown, it is the largest of the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.

Luke 13:18 - Then he said, What is the kingdom of God like? and to what shall I compare it?

Luke 13:19 - It is like a mustard seed, which a man took, and planted in his garden; and it grew, and became a great tree; and the birds of the air lodged in its branches.

Matthew 13:24 - He put forth another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field:

Matthew 13:25 - But while everyone slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.

Matthew 13:26 - But when the wheat had sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then the tares appeared also.

Matthew 13:27 - So the servants of the landowner came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? where then did the tares come from?

Matthew 13:28 - He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Do you wish for us to go and gather them up?

Matthew 13:29 - But he said, No; lest while you gather up the tares, you also pull up the wheat with them.

Matthew 13:30 - Let both grow together until the harvest: and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:37 - He answered them, He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;

Matthew 13:38 - The field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; but the tares are the sons of the wicked one;

Matthew 13:39 - The enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Matthew 13:40 - Therefore, as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be at the end of this age.

Matthew 13:41 - The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity;

Matthew 13:42 - And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:43 - Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Mark 4:26 - And he said, The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the ground;

Mark 4:27 - And goes to sleep and rises, night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows up, though he does not know how.

Mark 4:28 - For the earth brings forth fruit by itself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full grain in the ear.

Mark 4:29 - But when the grain is ripe, immediately he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.

Luke 13:20 - And again he said, To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?

Luke 13:21 - It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.

Matthew 13:33 - He spoke another parable to them; The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.

Matthew 13:44 - Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again, then for joy went and sold all that he had, and bought that field.

Matthew 13:45 - Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls.

Matthew 13:46 - When he found one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Matthew 13:47 - Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered fish of every kind:

Matthew 13:48 - Which, when it was full, they drew it to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

Matthew 13:49 - So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and separate the wicked from among the just,

Matthew 13:50 - And shall cast them into the furnace of fire, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:52 - Then he said to them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is an owner of a house, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.

Matthew 25:14 - For it is like a man travelling to a far country, who called his servants, and delivered to them his goods.

Matthew 25:15 - To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his ability; and he went on his journey.

Matthew 25:16 - Then he who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and gained another five talents.

Matthew 25:17 - And likewise, he who had received two, gained two more.

Matthew 25:18 - But he who had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

Matthew 25:19 - After a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.

Matthew 25:20 - And so he who had received five talents came and brought the other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered to me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

Matthew 25:21 - His lord said to him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord.

Matthew 25:22 - He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered to me two talents: behold, I have gained two more talents.

Matthew 25:23 - His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord.

Matthew 25:24 - Then he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew that you are a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed:

Matthew 25:25 - And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, here you have what is yours.

Matthew 25:26 - His lord answered and said to him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed:

Matthew 25:27 - Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and then at my coming I should have received it back with interest.

Matthew 25:28 - Take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

Matthew 25:29 - For to every one who has shall more be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him who does not have, even that which he has shall be taken away.

Matthew 25:30 - And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke 19:12 - Therefore he said, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and then to return.

Luke 19:13 - And he called his ten servants, and gave them ten minas, and said to them, Trade with these until I come.

Luke 19:14 - But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We do not want this man to reign over us.

Luke 19:15 - And it came to pass, that when he returned, having received the kingdom, that he commanded the servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

Luke 19:16 - The first came, saying, Lord, your mina has gained ten minas.

Luke 19:17 - And he said to him, Well done, you good servant: because you have been faithful in a very little, take authority over ten cities.

Luke 19:18 - And the second came, saying, Lord, your mina has gained five minas.

Luke 19:19 - And he said likewise to him, You shall be in authority over five cities.

Luke 19:20 - And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is your mina, which I have kept laid up in a handkerchief:

Luke 19:21 - For I feared you, because you are a severe man: you take up what you have not laid down, and reap what you did not sow.

Luke 19:22 - And he said to him, Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was a severe man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow:

Luke 19:23 - Why then did you not put my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have collected it with interest?

Luke 19:24 - And he said to those who stood by, Take from him the mina, and give it to him who has ten minas.

Luke 19:25 - And they said to him, Lord, he already has ten minas.

Luke 19:26 - I say to you, To everyone who has shall more be given; and from him who has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him.

Luke 19:27 - As for my enemies, those who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here, and kill them in front of me.

Matthew 13:3 - And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

Matthew 13:4 - And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them:

Matthew 13:5 - Some fell upon stony places, where they did not have much earth: and at once they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil:

Matthew 13:6 - And when the sun came up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Matthew 13:7 - And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up, and choked them:

Matthew 13:8 - But other seeds fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Matthew 13:11 - He answered them, It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

Matthew 13:18 - Hear then the parable of the sower.

Matthew 13:19 - When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed that was sown by the wayside.

Matthew 13:20 - The seed sown upon stony places is he who hears the word, and immediately receives it with joy;

Matthew 13:21 - Yet he has no root in himself, and endures only for a while: when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, he falls away.

Matthew 13:22 - The seed sown among the thorns is he who hears the word; and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

Matthew 13:23 - But the seed sown on the good ground is he who hears the word, and understands it; he also bears fruit, and brings forth, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.

Mark 4:3 - Listen; Behold, a sower went out to sow:

Mark 4:4 - And it came to pass, as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside, and the birds of the air came and devoured it.

Mark 4:5 - And some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil:

Mark 4:6 - But when the sun came up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

Mark 4:7 - And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

Mark 4:8 - And other seed fell on good ground, and yielded fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some a hundredfold.

Mark 4:13 - And he said to them, Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?

Mark 4:11 - And he said to them, To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but to those who are outside, all these things are done in parables:

Mark 4:14 - The sower sows the word.

Mark 4:15 - And these are the ones by the wayside, where the word is sown; when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in them.

Mark 4:16 - And likewise, these are the ones who are like seed sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

Mark 4:17 - But have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, they immediately fall away.

Mark 4:18 - And these are the ones who are like seed sown among thorns; they hear the word,

Mark 4:19 - And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lust for other things enter in, and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Mark 4:20 - And these are the ones who are like seed sown on good ground; they hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty, some sixty, and some a hundredfold.

Luke 8:5 - A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trodden down, and the birds of the air devoured it.

Luke 8:6 - And some fell upon the rock; and as soon as it had sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

Luke 8:7 - And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

Luke 8:8 - And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore a crop a hundred times as great. And when he said these things, he called out, He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Luke 8:10 - And he said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others it is in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Luke 8:11 - Now the meaning of the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Luke 8:12 - Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes, and takes the word from their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Luke 8:13 - Those on the rock are the ones, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but they have no root; they believe for a while, but in time of temptation fall away.

Luke 8:14 - And the seed which fell among thorns are those, who, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.

Luke 8:15 - But the seed on the good ground are those, who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Matthew 22:2 - The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who gave a marriage feast for his son,

Matthew 22:3 - And sent forth his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast: but they would not come.

Matthew 22:4 - Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fat calves have been killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.

Matthew 22:5 - But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his business:

Matthew 22:6 - And the rest took his servants, and treated them spitefully, and killed them.

Matthew 22:7 - The king was angry, and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.

Matthew 22:8 - Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

Matthew 22:9 - Therefore, go into the highways, and as many as you shall find, invite to the marriage feast.

Matthew 22:10 - So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Matthew 22:11 - And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment:

Matthew 22:12 - And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

Matthew 22:13 - Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.

Luke 13:30 - And, behold, there are some who are last who shall be first, and there are some who are first who shall be last.

Matthew 11:11 - Truly I say to you, Among those who are born of women there has not arisen one greater than John the Baptist: yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Matthew 26:29 - But I say to you, I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom.

Mark 14:25 - Truly I say to you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.

Luke 22:18 - For I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

Matthew 7:21 - Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
