Cupid. God of love, son of Jupiter and Venus is represented as a winged boy, naked, armed with a bow and arrows, and often with a bandage covering his eyes. He shot his arrows into the hearts of both gods and men. Like all the gods, he put on different forms to suit his plans. He became the husband of Psyche.
