Turner Sharon

Turner, SHARON (1768-1847), historian, was by profession a solicitor. He did some goon historical work in the intervals of business, and received, a Civil List pension in recognition of it. His best book was History of the Anglo-Saxons, finished in 1805. He also wrote a history of England from the Conquest to the reign of Elizabeth.
