Terry

Terry, ELLEN (b. 1848), actress, made her first appearance at the Princess Theatre in 1856. In 1878 she joined the Lyceum company, and was subsequently associated with the chief productions under the management of Sir Henry Irving (q.v.). Her Shakespearean parts include Ophelia, Portia, Cordelia, Desdemona, Juliet, Beatrice, Lady Macbeth, Imogen, and Katharine of Aragon.
