Susquehanna
Susquehanna, a river of the United States, is formed by two branches, the main branch, from the N., rising in Otsego Lake, New York, and the other rising in the Alleghanies. The two streams unite at Northumberland (Pennsylvania), and the river flows S.E. past Harrisburg and Columbia into Maryland, and falls into Chesapeake Bay at Havre de Grace. The main channel is 250 miles long.
