St Cloud

St. Cloud, a Frencch town, in the department of Seine-et-Oise, four miles W. of Paris. Ihe chateau built by the Duke of Orleans, brother of Louis XIV., afterwards became a royal palace, and was occupied by Napoleon. It was destroyed during the second siege of Paris (1870).
