Shoulder Joint

Shoulder Joint, the ball and socket joint which is formed by the articulation of the rounded head of the humerus with the glenold cavity of the scapula. For diseases of the shoulder joint, see JOINT. The shoulder is a joint which is not infrequently dislocated.
