Seattle

Seattle, the capital of King county, Washington Territory, U.S.A., stands on a bay of the same name on the E. shore of Puget Sound, between Lakes Union and Washington, with which it is connected by canal. It possesses ship-yards saw-mi11s, foundries, and factories of various kinds. It is also the seat of the university of the Territory.
