Scyphostoma
Scyphostoma is a stage in the life-history of some of the Hydrozoa belonging to the subclass Acraspeda (q.v.). It consists of only a small fixed tube resembling the common fresh-water polype or Hydra; it is therefore known also as the "Hydra tuba." It occurs in the members of the Ephyroniae.
