Schubartvon Kleefeld

Schubart von Kleefeld, JOHANN CHRISTIAN (1734-87), German agriculturalist, was an original thinker and innovator, whose ideas were not properly appreciated in his 1ifetime, though he enjoyed much popularity. He published in 1786 six volumes of treatises in Rural and Public Economy. During the Seven Years' War he was a war commissary, and previously held a position in the household of the ambassadors of Saxony at Vienna,
