Scarabreus

Scarabreus, a genus of beetles, belonging to the Scarabaeidae, of the Lamellicornia. There are about seventy species found in Africa and the sonth of Europe and Asia. They live on dung, laying their eggs in balls which they roll up. The sacred beetle of Egypt (8. sacer) is found on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
