Rupia

Rupia, a form of skin disease, in which blebs appear upon the skin, the contained fluid being at first serous and later purulent. A scab ultimately forms covering a subjacent ulcer; the scab is thick, and in rupia prominens it is shaped like a limpet shell. Rupia usually occurs in association with syphilis.
