Roubiliac

Roubiliac, Louis Francois, sculptor, was born early in .the ,18th century at Lyons, and came to England in his youth. He speedily made a reputation by his occasionally good conceptions and excellent finish, and executed many works, some of which are in Westminster Abbey. He died in 1762, and was buried in the parish of St. Martin's, London.
