Praxiteles
Praxiteles, the great Greek sculptor, flourished at Athens in the 4th century B.C. Little is known of his life, and most of his works have perished; but in 1877 his Hermes Carrging Dionysus was discovered at Olympia. His reputation was derived from his statues of Aphrodito at Cnidus and other places, Dionysus at Elis and Athens, Eros at Thespiae, and from several Apollos.
