Paulus

Paulus, Heinrich Eberhard Gottlob (1761-1851), German Rationalist, was born near Stuttgart. He was professor at several universities in succession, occupying the chair of ecclesiastical history at Heidelberg from 1811 to 1844. His chief work was his Exegetisches Handbuch (1830-33).
