Passaniaquoddies
Passaniaquoddies, North American Indians, a branch of the Algonquian family, who formerly occupied the coastlands about the New Brunswick and Maine frontiers, where the name still survives in Passamaquoddy Bay and river. Here a small group lingered on till about the year 1825, when they appear to have died out.
