Palliata, a group of univalve shellfish (Gastropoda) belonging to the suborder Opisthobranchia (q.v.) and including those members of this suborder having a well-developed mantle. The Sea-Hare (Ajrtysia) and the Bubble-shells (Bulla) are the two best known representatives.
