Ngami

Ngami, a lake in the interior of South Africa, long. 20° 4(y E., lat. 20° 40' S., about 300 miles west of Mashonaland. At its most northerly point it receives the river Embarrah from the north-west, and is drained by the river Zonga on the east. The Zonga gradually dwindles for about 250 miles, and then spreads out into a lagoon, and is lost in the sands and by evaporation.
