Mohler

Mohler, Johann Adam (1796-1838), an able Roman Catholic polemical theologian, was born at Igersheim, in Wurtemberg. He studied theology at the university of Tubingen, and became professor there in 1828. His chief work, Symbolism.: or, the Doctrinal Differences between Catholics and Protestants (1832), gave rise to much controversy.
