Minos

Minos, a mythical King of Crete, the legends concerning whom yvere a relic of the Phoenician occupation. In Greek mythology he appears as the son of Zeus and Europa. He was said to have enacted a code of laws communicated to him by Zeus himself, and to have become after his death the j udge of the nether world.
