Maildun

Maildun, an ancient Irish hero, whose exploits are dealt with by Dr. Joyce in his Ancient Celtic Romances (1879). He was born in County Clare, and, his father having been killed by pirates, he set out on a three years' voyage in search of the slayers of his father. After a set of most marvellous adventures, he found and forgave the murderers.
