Lyttelton
Lyttelton, George, Lord (1709-73), entered Parliament in 1730, became Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1755, and was raised to the peerage in 1757. His works include Observations on the Conversion of St. Paul (1747), Bialogues of the Deed (1760), a History of Henry II. (1764), and various poems.
