Leakeor Lake Sir Andrew

Leake, or Lake, Sir Andrew, naval commander, born about 1660, became a captain in 1690. In 1700 he was commodore at Newfoundland, and in 1702 was present at the attack on Vigo. Heassisted at the capture .of Gibraltar, and at the battle of Malaga he was mortally wounded.
