Huggins

Huggins,Sir William (b. 1824); English astronomer, early commenced the study of physical science. In 1852 he was elected member of the Microscopical Society, and a few years later devoted himself entirely to astronomy. He has made many important discoveries, and is a member of most of the scientific societies of England.
