Horn Cape

Horn, Cape, a precipitous, bare, and jagged headland on Hermit Island, in the Fuegian Archipelago, is the most southerly point of America.

It was called "Hoorn" by the discoverer, Schouten (1616), a native of the town of that name in Holland.
