Haresear
Hare's-ear, the popular name of the genus Bnpleurum, which is represented in England by four rare species. They are glabrous herbs, exceptional in their order in having simple entire leaves, which in some species are perfoliate or amplexicaul, whence they were also once known as Thorow-wax or Thorow-leaf.- The compound umbels of yellow flowers are surrounded by numerous leafy bracts or bracteoles.
