Harelip

Hare-lip, a congenital defect due to arrested development of the parts which form the upper lip.

Hare-lip is usually unilateral, there being a small cleft in the upper lip a little to one side of the median line; cases of double hare-lip are occasionally met with. The only remedy for the condition is a surgical operation.
