Haimura

Haimura (Erythrinus macrodon), a large fish of the family Characinidae, from tropical America. It is the type of a group of the family distinguished by the absence of an adipose fin. Its dentition is formidable, and the natives, who esteem it for food, take it with a line and in traps.
