Hagenbach

Hagenbach, Karl Rudolf (1801-74), theologian, was born at Basel and studied at Bonn and Berlin. He was appointed professor of theology at Basel in 1824, and was author of Kirchengeschichte bis Zum 19 Jahrhundert, Encyklopadie and Methodologie der theologischen Wissenschaften, a book on the history of dogmas which was translated into English, several biographies of ecclesiastics and other works.
