Guglielmi
Guglielmi, Pietro (1727-1804), an Italian composer, was born at Massa di Carrara. After giving successful performances in the chief cities of Italy, he visited Dresden and other places in Germany, and remained five years in London. In 1777 he came to Naples, and in 1793 was made maestro di cappella by Pope Pius VI. Among his operas were La Didone, La Serva Inamorata, and La Bella Pcscatrice.
