Grindelwald

Grindelwald, a valley of Switzerland in the Bernese Oberland, 36 miies S.E. of Berne. The valley, famous for its beauty, lies at the foot of the Eiger, Mettenberg, and Wetterhorn mountains, and forms the approach to the Upper and Lower Grindelwald glaciers.
