Granatocrinus
Granatocrinus, the type genus of the Granatocriuidcr, is of especial interest to English students, as it includes the commonest English representatives of the extinct class, the Blastoidea (q.v.); most, of the European species originally named Pentrcmites belong to this genus. The Granatoerini eu'e small globular blastoids with a flat base and are without a stem. The genus is typical of the Devonian and Carboniferous periods.
