Gow

Gow, Neil (1727-1807), a noted Scottish fiddler, was born at Inver, near Dunkeld. He soon became renowned for his reels and strathspeys, and was much patronised by the great. His son, Nathaniel, composed the favourite ballad Caller Herriri.
