Goddard

Goddard, Arabella (b. 1836), one of the greatest of English pianoforte-players, was born near St. Malo. Her taste was formed by Mr. J. W. Davison, to whom she was married in 1860. She made her debut in London on October 23, 1850. She was thought very highly of in Germany and Italy, and played for the last time in England in 1873, when she set out on a tour to Australia and the United States.
