Gingergrass Oil

Ginger-grass Oil, known in North and Central India as Rusa Oil, and in Egypt as Idris Oil, is also called Oil of Geranium (q.v.). It is obtained from the sweet-scented grass Andropogon Schcenanthus, and is used medicinally in India, as hair-oil by Arabs and Turks, and in Egypt to adulterate attar of roses (q.v.).
