Gasoline
Gasoline is the name given to some of the lighter and more volatile portions obtained in the distillation and purification of crude petroleum. It is a very volatile liquid with boiling-point varying from about 35° to 80° C, which consists mainly of a mixture of the hydrocarbons - pentane (C5H12), liexane (C6H14), and heptane (C7H16).
