Ganglion

Ganglion, a sac or cyst formed in connection with a tendon. This condition is most commonly met with at the back of the wrist. Ganglion does not give rise to pain, but the discomfort and unsightliness caused by the swelling usually lead the sufferer from this condition to resort to surgical treatment.
