Fryxell

Fryxell, Anders, was born in Dalsland, Sweden, in 1795. He graduated at Upsala, entered the pastorate, and adopted education as his profession. His first published work was entitled Svensh

Spraldcera. but. his fame chiefly rests on his Ber'dttclsre ur Svenska Historien. which appeared in parts for upwards of five-and-twenty years, and at once achieved popularity. From 1833 to his death in 1881 he was professor at Upsala, and also parish priest of Sunne.
