Frechette
Frechette, Louis Honore (b. 1839), Canadian writer, born at Levis, Quebec, was called to the bar in 1864, and ten years later became a member of the Dominion Parliament. He has written poems (Mes Loisirs, Les Oublies, Voix d'Outre-mer [1886]), plays, and other prose works. Two of his poems were crowned by the French Academy in 1880.
