Eupsammidae

Eupsammidae, a family of Perforate corals including the majority of that group. Some genera, such as Stephanophyllia, have affinities with the Fungida (q.v.). The family first becomes important in the Cretaceous, but one genus (Calostylis) from the Silurian has been assigned to it.
