Elssler

Elssler. Fanny (1810-1884), and Therese (1808-1878), two dancers born at Vienna. They made a great impression at Berlin in 1830, and were well known in all European capitals. A visit to America in 1841 brought them fresh triumphs. ' They retired in 1851, and Therese was ennobled upon her marriage with Prince Adalbert of Prussia.
