Ecclesiastical Commissioners

Ecclesiastical Commissioners are a body of persons, constituted under statutes passed during the present reign for the general management and supervision of the Estates of the Church, being either episcopal or capitular, and for the proper application of the revenues or produce thereof in support and extension of the Church.
