Duval

Duval, Claude (1643-1670), a famous highwayman, was born in Normandy, and came to England with the Duke of Richmond. His adventures, fabulous or other, are well known, as nre the tales of his politeness in the exercise of his calling. He was hanged, and buried in Covent Garden church.
