Driffield
Driffield, Great, a town of the Yorkshire Wolds, in the East Riding, 11 miles N. of Beverley. A canal connects it. with Hull, 19 miles away. It is in a fertile district, and there is a considerable trade in corn, cattle, flour, linseed cake, and artificial manure.
